Tarangire Sopa lodge is carefully hidden among the kopjes; it is surrounded by ancient massive baobab trees. Tarangire park is the home of the greatest concentration of elephants in Africa, and other game including the elusive leopard. With over 400 bird species, the park is also an ornithologist’s paradise rich in birds of prey. There is a constant supply of water available in the area providing contrasted greenery is lush.
Location
Tarangire Sopa lodge is located in the Tarangire National Park which covers an area of 2800 sq km. The lodge lies 118 km south west of Arusha, approximately 2 hours drive from Arusha town via road and only 20 minutes flight duration and an additional 20 minutes ground transfer to the lodge.
