Tortilis Camp sits strategically tucked in the Amboseli national park, with the majestic backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain and the World’s highest free standing mountain, The Mount Kilimanjaro. The Tortilis Camp is named after the flat-topped, umbrella thorn tree, the Acacia Tortilis and is situated in one of Amboseli's prime areas of Acacia Tortilis woodland. The Tortilis Camp is an eco-friendly camp built with the surrounding environment in consideration.
The Tortilis Camp Amboseli lies just outside the Amboseli National Park -Kenyas ultimate elephant country- The Amboseli National Park.

The tents at Tortilis Camp are all large and spacious, with king or twin beds, elegant en suite bathrooms. There is a main lounge, bar and dining area, all exquisitely built with natural materials and thatched roofs, with unspoilt magnificent views of Kilimanjaro.This charming, rustic tented camp, shaded by a natural forest of Acacia Tortilis thorn trees is an enchanting magical get away. Its tents are furnished with focus on rustic simplicity, unobtrusive design and detailed attention to comfort without compromise on the environment and your comfort.
The Tortilis camp is located only 4 hrs drive from Nairobi and 2 hrs from Mombasa.
